This weekend’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Dover International Speedway marks Ryan Reed’s seventh start at the Monster Mile. In his six previous starts, Reed’s best finish of 10th came in the fall event last year. Prior to that, Reed’s best finish had been 11th in the spring event in 2015.

Recap: Ryan Blaney and the No. 12 Snap-on Ford Mustang team won the Hisense 4k TV 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS) after a strong drive from the rear of the field to start the 200-lap event. The 23-year-old qualified his Ford third during Saturday mornings session but due to unapproved adjustments, Blaney and the No. 12 team started from the back of the pack.

Reed Finishes 11th at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Ryan Reed had a fast No. 16 Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang at Charlotte Motor Speedway, running solidly in the top 10 and top five throughout the 200-lap race. Reed tagged the outside wall while battling for position late in the race on a restart, resulting in some right-side damage. Despite the damage, Reed was able to battle it out until the end and cross the finish line 11th.
