Matt Mills joins B.J. McLeod Motorsports at Phoenix Raceway

Officials from B.J. McLeod Motorsports (BJMM) announced today the Lynchburg, Va., native Matt Mills (@mattmillsracing) will make his NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) debut in Saturday afternoon’s DC Solar 200 at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway.

2018 Camry Wins Out West… In the first event of NASCAR’s three-race West Coast swing at Las Vegas, Martin Truex Jr. drove the new, radically redesigned 2018 Toyota Camry to its first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) victory since debuting at Daytona in February. The win was also the first in 2017 for Truex who became the first MENCS driver to sweep all three race stages as he led a race-high 150 laps (of 267). Truex will attempt to become the first driver to sweep #NASCARGoesWest events as he heads to Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) where he owns seven top-10 finishes in 22 MENCS starts.

Wallace will make his fifth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday afternoon.

Ryan Reed – Phoenix Advance

Reed finished sixth in the fall last year at Phoenix, his best finish at the 1.0-mile track. Reed qualified third for that race, which prior to his second-place starting position in Daytona this season, was his best XFINITY qualifying position.

Ty Majeski to Make NASCAR Debut in Iowa

Regarded as one of the most talented up-and-coming drivers in motorsports, Roush Fenway Racing developmental driver Ty Majeski will make his NASCAR debut in the NASCAR XFINITY Series race on June 24 at Iowa Speedway. Majeski boasts ARCA Midwest Tour Championships in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and was one of 11 drivers named to the NASCAR Next 2016-17 class. iRacing.com, the world’s premier online racing game/simulation, will serve as the primary partner on Majeski’s Ford for the race.
