Ryan Reed has competed at Iowa Speedway five times in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. In June of this year, Reed finished 11th after starting in the same position. In this race last year, Reed finished 19th after starting 21st.

American Diabetes Association® ambassador and diabetes advocate Greg Robinson will ‘ride’ along with Roush Fenway Racing driver Ryan Reed during Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Iowa Speedway. The Urbandale, Iowa resident will have his name featured on a decal above the passenger-side window on the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes/American Diabetes Association Ford Mustang.

Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), the championship-winning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team, will expand into the NASCAR XFINITY Series in 2017. The organization will field a full-time, single-car team in the XFINITY Series with a driver and sponsor lineup to be announced prior to the conclusion of the 2016 season.

Richard Childress Racing (RCR) has made a change in crew chiefs for its NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR XFINITY Series programs, effective immediately.

About the only thing Kyle Busch didn’t win on Saturday was the one prize he wasn’t eligible for. Jeb Burton returned to the NASCAR XFINITY Series on Saturday afternoon at the blistering hot Indianapolis (Ind.) Motor Speedway. Burton partnered with Estes Express Lines to race the No. 98 Ford owned by Biagi-DenBeste Racing - a winning team this season in the XFINITY Series.
