After narrowly missing out on picking up the win at Chicagoland Speedway last year, Michael Self took advantage of a late-race restart and led the final two laps to score his second ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards victory of 2018 in Friday night's SCOTT 150.

The SCOTT 150 at Chicagoland Speedway is the eleventh race of 20 scheduled for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. It is the seventh race of the nine races that make up the 2018 General Tire Superspeedway Challenge, a championship-within-a-championship that takes place on paved tracks one mile in length and longer.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards is coming to Chicagoland Speedway for the SCOTT 150 on Thursday, June 28, and Daytona pole winner Natalie Decker will be leading the charge in her quest to become the storied sanctioning body's first-ever female winner. Decker, a Scott Rookie Challenge contender in 2018, will be making her 17th series start and her first start at Chicagoland Speedway.

Josef Newgarden put on a driving clinic for the competition today at Road America today as he captured his third victory of the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series (VICS) season and 10th of his career. The defending Verizon IndyCar Series champion started his No. 1 Verizon Team Penske Chevrolet on the pole, and went on to lead 53 of the 55-lap race around the 4.014-mile Wisconsin natural terrain road course.

I felt like we had a car that could win then, and it just didn’t happen. This Chevrolet has been a rocket all weekend, but it was not easy. Ryan (Hunter-Reay) was quick and I knew (Scott) Dixon was right behind him, so we were working for it the entire race."

The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards will make its return to Gateway Motorsports Park for the first time since 2007 with Friday's Papa Nicholas Coffee 150. The event will mark the halfway point of the series' 2018 season.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards is making its way back to Iowa Speedway for another summertime, short track classic on the .875-mile Newton, Iowa oval. The 12th ARCA Racing Series Iowa 150 is coming Saturday night, July 7.

ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards rookie Harrison Burton looked more like a veteran in his career-first superspeedway start, handily winning the General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 Friday afternoon at Pocono Raceway.

Two additional drivers will join Rev Racing’s youth driver line-up as part of the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Driver Development Program. Kaylee Bryson, 17, and Hayden Swank,16, will compete with previously announced Rev Racing youth drivers Isabella Robusto and Nick Sanchez. All four drivers will compete at the Bojangles’ Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Will Power didn’t secure his first oval victory until his eighth Indy car season in 2011. His seventh win proved to be the biggest one of his career. Power led a 1-2 Chevrolet sweep of the 102nd Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil with a 3.1589-second victory over pole sitter Ed Carpenter.
