Tyler Ankrum clinched the 2018 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) Championship over the weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Ankrum's 50-point lead over Tyler Dippel allowed him to seal the deal before the season finale at Dover International Speedway.

Thad Moffitt Returns to ARCA Racing Series in Indiana

Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) development driver Thad Moffitt will make his Team Chevy racing debut start this Friday night at the short track in Clermont, Indiana, just miles from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Moffitt will compete in the ARCA Racing Series Shore Lunch 200 and is hoping to better his 11th-place finish last year. He's also wanting to collect another Top-10 after finishing 10th at the Toledo Speedway earlier this year in ARCA competition.

Seavey Scores Career First ARCA Win at DuQuoin

Logan Seavey (No. 20 Craftsman Toyota) took the lead on lap 66 and withstood four late-race restarts to claim his first career ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards victory in Monday's General Tire Grabber 100 at DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. Seavey's win was the 50th for the Venturini Motorsports team dating back to team owner Bill Venturini's first series win at Flat Rock Speedway in 1984.

It is also the ninth round of the 2018 Sioux Chief Short Track Challenge, an eleven-race championship-within-a-championship that takes place on tracks one-mile in length and less throughout the season. Other SCSTC races remaining on the schedule are Friday night at Lucas Oil Raceway in Brownsburg, Indiana, and Salem Speedway, in Salem, Indiana.
