Unfulfilled expectations had marked the Verizon IndyCar Series season of Scott Dixon until he returned to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, which just seems to suit the three-time series champion.

Scott Dixon tied Al Unser Jr. for sixth on the all-time Indy car win list with a dramatic last-to-first Verizon IndyCar Series win Sunday in the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio. The win was the 34th of Dixon's career and his fifth win at the Mid-Ohio Sport Car Course in his last eight starts on the 2.258-mile, 13-turn road course.

#8 Gary McLean has been a roll lately and will be looking to add another feature to the win column. #88r Tommy Robb started his OSCAAR Modified career with a top finish last year at Peterborough. Currently 3rd in points Tommy will be looking for his first feature win. Max Beyore was out practicing Thursday night trying to get a little advantage to pick up his second win of the year.

Our team headed out early Sunday morning for the three hour trek north to Sauble Speedway. It was a good day, a little overcast, but no rain in sight. However, the weather man was calling for rain around 5 to 6 pm. The race was scheduled to start at 2pm and everyone hoped we would get the show in for the fans, and of course the family of Rick Woolner.

Earlier today, Verizon IndyCar Series drivers Mike Conway and Sebastien Bourdais along with Verizon IndyCar Series team owner/driver Ed Carpenterparticipated in an INDYCAR Conference Call to preview the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

#07 Todd Campbell lead the field to green and lead for the first seven laps of the feature. Defending event winner #81 of Andrew Gresel took command of the fifty lap event on lap eight and went on to pick up the feature win. #22 of Glenn Watson post a couple of late race challenges but could not complete the pass and settled for second place when the checker flag waved.
