After timing in a career-best 3rd in time trials, Jason Hathaway led over 200 laps and survived a rousing late-race battle with veteran Mark Dilley to claim victory in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series' rain-delayed inaugural visit to Autodrome Chaudiere.

After a tumultuous start to his 2014 OSCAAR Super Late Model season, Kevin Cornelius was rewarded for his weeks of determination at Barrie Speedway on June 14th. Triumphing over a race-long battle with fellow sophomore Andrew Gresel, Cornelius earned his first ever tour victory in just his 10th career start.

Andrew Ranger was excited to participate in the inaugural event for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series at the Autodrome Chaudière this past weekend. Ranger battled hard to put the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge in position for a solid result but late contact would dampen their results.

Driver for Canada's Best Racing Team (CBRT) Joey McColm looked to be on their way to a solid result at round number two of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series at the Autodrome Chaudière this past weekend. Sadly a mechanical failure left the team without that result.

Fresh off a victory in Round 2 of the OSCAAR Super Late Model Tour at Kawartha Speedway, Andrew Gresel turned in another impressive performance on June 14th, capturing runner-up honours in Round 3 of the tour at Barrie Speedway.

The second round of the 2014 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Presented by Mobile 1 championship took the tour to the rugged .25 mile oval at Autodrome Chaudiere at Vallee Jonction Quebec, a short drive from Quebec City.

On Saturday night at Barrie Speedway, Tyler Hawn would make his 2014 OSCAAR Super Late Model season debut. The night didn’t go as hoped, though, as Hawn would fight handling issues on his way to finishing 10th in the 50-lap feature.

Gary Mclean used a lap twenty seven restart to claim first place and record his second feature event win in 2014. Race long leader #36 of Gary Elliott said there was nothing he could do, he lost his power steering and on the restart did not want to push up into McLean.

#10 Jesse Kennedy lead the field to green and held onto the point until lap eleven of the fifty lap event. Current point leader Andrew Gresel would pace the field till a lap thirty three caution allowed the second running #17 Kevin Cornelius to close the gap.
