INDYCAR announced today post-event infractions from the Grand Prix of Indianapolis, which was held May 10 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Volkswagen Andretti rallycross team kicks-off the 2014 Global Rallycross season on the Caribbean island of Barbados at the Bushy Park Circuit on May 17-18 at the Top Gear Festival. As a part of it's Americas debut, the Top Gear Festival will feature an impressive line-up of cars, driving talent and factory-backed competition.

SAE International will hold its annual Formula SAE® competition at Michigan International Speedway on May 14-17. The competition has been held at MIS since 2008.

Verizon IndyCar Series driver James Hinchcliffe was evaluated May 13 by the INDYCAR medical team in conjunction with its neurosurgical consultant. INDYCAR Medical Director Dr. Michael Olinger said that Hinchcliffe is progressing well and has been cleared to begin light training with his athletic trainer.
