David Thorndyke put his auto racing savvy on display in the first race of 2013 NASCAR Canadian Tire season at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Jason White was thrilled for the inaugural race of the 2013 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series season at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on Sunday, but the day dealt him a handful of obstacles to tackle behind the wheel of his #21 Bowers & Wilkins Dodge prepared by DJK Racing.

Sherwood Park, Alberta’s Noel Dowler and the #5 EMCO/Rheem Dodge team demonstrated that hard work pays off in round number one of the 2013 NASCAR Canadian Tire series this past weekend. Following months of hard work in the off season the team also dealt with adversity during the race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and battled hard to record an eighth place finish.

Scott Steckly driver of the 22 Racing/Canadian Tire Dodge started the Pinty’s presents the Vortex Brake Pads 200 from the third starting position but a crash into the turn three wall took them out early and a 24th place finish was the result.

Louis-Philippe Dumoulin won the Pinty’s presents the Vortex Brake Pads 200 on Sunday in NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 action at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Bobby Tolton would fight mechanical issues throughout the night in his OSCAAR Modified debut on his way to finishing 10th.

Gary McLean (#8 McLean Industrial Design Chevrolet) led the final 18 laps of the North Toronto Auctions 30 to earn his first victory of 2013 on the OSCAAR Modified tour.

After running inside the top 10, Sean Cronan was forced down pit side and out of the race early due to mechanical issues.

Stroud, Ont. – Brandon Watson (#9 Shear/Barrie Frame and Alignment/Knightworks Design Chevrolet) led all 51 laps of the Lucie Aylwin Memorial presented by North Toronto Auctions at Sunset Speedway en route to victory in the 2013 OSCAAR Super Late Model season opener.

Kevin Cornelius would have a successful debut in the OSCAAR Super Late Models, finishing seventh in the Lucie Alywin Memorial 51 presented by North Toronto Auctions at Sunset Speedway.
