Kyle Busch had every reason to be monstrously proud of the NASCAR Camping World Truck team that bears his name. Busch scored the victory and his two teammates, ‘kids’ Darrell Wallace Jr. and Joey Coulter, finished top-ten in the 14th annual Lucas Oil 200 at the Monster Mile.
After struggling last week in Indianapolis, Dario Franchitti would win the pole for the first of two races this weekend in Detroit. It marks his 31st IZOD IndyCar Racing Series pole. The Scotland man would lead the Firestone Fast Six with a lap of one minute, 19.3311 seconds on the 2.346-mile, 13- turn street circuit.
The OSCAAR Super Late Model tour returns to action Saturday night at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) for round two of the 13-race 2013 campaign. The event marks OSCAAR’s only appearance at the Bowmanville, Ont. speedway this season.
As has been the case most every weekend this season, Mother Nature tried her best to prevent Tracy Hines and his fellow USAC competitors from racing over the Memorial Day weekend in Indiana, but in the end perseverance paid off as both the Hoosier 100 and the Night Before the 500 were completed. Following the two historic races in his home state, Hines found himself on the podium with a pair of third-place finishes.
In a race that saw a record 68 lead changes amongst 14 leaders, the race would end under caution and see an emotional driver Tony Kanaan go to victory lane. After suffering defeat many years in a row, Kanaan’s move on the restart with three to go would pan off to be the move of the race.
With a three-wide move for the lead past Carlo Munoz and Ryan Hunter-Reay, Tony Kanaan would take the lead and hold on to it till a caution came out with three laps to go. That caution would result in the race ending under caution.

Jason Hathaway and his T3R/ EHR race team posted an awesome 3rd place finish at the first race of the 2013 NCTS season the Vortex Brake Pads 200 this afternoon. It was also a historic day trackside as the entire race was broadcast live across the country on CTV showcasing the series and the high level of competition.
After months of preparations NASCAR Canadian Tire Series defending champion DJ Kennington was anxious to kick off the new season and pick up where he left of last year. The #17 Castrol Edge Dodge driver did just that with an excellent result in the opening round for 2013 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park this past weekend.
It was a partnership that came together very quickly that put Robin Buck at the wheel of the familiar looking #66 Quaker State Dodge for round number one of the 2013 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series this past weekend. But the experienced driver and team once again combined for very good race and claimed a fifth place result.
