William Byron captured the pole for the 70th Annual Bojangles’ Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway with a lap of 28.51 seconds (172.487 mph).

The NASCAR Xfinity Series competes at Road America this weekend while the Gander Outdoors Truck Series heads to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series is off this week but will return next weekend at Darlington Raceway.

Denny Hamlin won the Pole Award for Saturday night's 59th Annual Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race with a lap of 14.848 seconds, 129.230 mph. This was Hamlin's first pole of the season, fourth at Bristol and the 31st of his career.

Start first and finish first was the name of the game for the GMS Racing driver Brett Moffitt as he took home the win Thursday night at Bristol Motor Speedway. It was Moffitt's third win of the season and locks him into the Round of 6 as the Playoffs continue.

The Gander Outdoors Truck Series will feature the first race in Round 1 of their championship Playoffs while the Xfinity Series has five races remaining in the regular season. The Monster Energy Cup Series will close out the weekend with three to go.

In an overtime restart, Austin Hill in No. 16 Hattori Racing Toyota was able to hold off Sheldon Creed and Tyler Dippel for his second win of the 2019 season.

Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 2 Discount Tire Team Penske Ford won the pole on Friday afternoon at Michigan International Speedway with a time of 37.80 seconds at 190.471 mph.
