Matt Kenseth would give himself a 41st birthday present by winning the Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It marks his first win with Joe Gibbs Racing and his 25th career victory.

Martin Truex Jr. paced Happy Hour with a fastest speed of 188.383 mph leading up to the Kobalt Tools 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway tomorrow afternoon. Truex is trying to get a good race under his belt after poor finishes in both the season-opening Daytona 500 and last weekend at the Subway Fresh Fit 500 in Phoenix.

With rain falling throughout the entire afternoon at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, qualifying was rained out, putting defending series champion Brad Keselowski on the pole. The rest of the field will start based on last year's owners standings as per NASCAR rules.

Carl Edwards would break a 70-race losing streak at Phoenix International Raceway by winning the Subway Fresh Fit 500 in the No. 99 Subway Ford Fusion.

Mark Martin captured his third career pole at the Phoenix International Raceway and this is his 20th career top-10 start dating back to his debut here in 1988. At 54 years old, Martin still shocks guys like the young Kasey Kahne, who will start on the front row for the first time at Phoenix.

For the second straight year, Dale Earnhardt Jr. found himself the bridesmaid in the biggest race of the year. His frantic charge on the last lap that came up short, ending in a second place finish in the Daytona 500 behind teammate Jimmie Johnson.

When the caution came out with nine to go, Jimmie Johnson was just a nose ahead of Brad Keselowski, able to choose his line on the restart. He would choose the outside lane and would hold the field off to win the 2013 Daytona 500.

Jimmie Johnson won the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on Sunday. Johnson, making his 400th career start, held off teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Mark Martin after the final restart with six laps remaining.

Under a pit stop with 20 to go, Kyle Busch would take fuel only and have a solid pit stop to come off pit road in the lead. He would lead the rest of the way to win his first Budweiser Duel in four years. It also marks the second fastest Duel in NASCAR History with Busch completing the race with an average speed of 193.966 mph.
