Bristol Motor Speedway once again kicks off NASCAR’s 2013 short track season in mid-March and welcomes fans back for its second Sprint Cup event on the fourth Saturday in August.

One of the longest and most successful partnerships in NASCAR history continued to grow today with the announcement that Goody’s® Powder will return to Martinsville Speedway in 2013 as the sponsor of the fall Sprint Cup race.

Jeff Gordon and Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles kicked off this weekend’s Food Lion AutoFair by revealing a special paint scheme that the driver of the No. 24 Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet will race in the Oct. 13 Bank of America 500.

The high-paced action at Michigan International Speedway, the fastest racetrack in NASCAR, will continue in 2013 with two weekends of racing, June 14-16 and Aug. 16-18.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart joined officials from Charlotte Motor Speedway and Bank of America to kick off the “Express Your Thanks” flag program to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Fans attending the Oct. 13 Bank of America 500 can sign a flag with a message of support for the U.S. Armed Forces that will be displayed during the race in a giant flag mosaic. For each flag that is signed, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation will donate $1 to the Wounded Warrior Project, up to $250,000.

The 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup schedule at Martinsville Speedway will have a familiar look with its traditional NASCAR Sprint Cup dates returning.

Charlotte Motor Speedway is set to get even louder when country rockers Big & Rich “crank it up to eleven” at the Bank of America 500 Pre-Race Show Presented by Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Saturday, October 13, as part of a thrilling week of speed, danger and fun.

As the championship battle heats up at the newly reconfigured Kansas Speedway, actor-comedian Rob Riggle, has decided to join in on the action and has been named Grand Marshal for the Hollywood Casino 400, the sixth race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Riggle recently hosted the 20th annual ESPY Awards on ESPN, which is also airing the Hollywood Casino 400 live from Kansas Speedway on Oct. 21 at 1 PM CT.

Race fans, sponsors and VIPs gathered in the Newton Club at Iowa Speedway on Thursday evening to honor royalty, ‘The King’ Richard Petty. The third Rusty’s Roast – Celebrating the Career of Richard Petty – hosted over 200 people to benefit The NASCAR Foundation and the Iowa Speedway Foundation.

Dover International Speedway will offer race fans the option of tent camping for the Sept. 28-30, 2012 NASCAR race weekend. Non self-contained RVs, also known as pop-ups, will also now be permitted.
