When the NASCAR Nationwide Series chose to go to Montreal, everybody knew of the city and believed in the decision. However, when it came to NASCAR choosing Canadian Tire Motorsports Park for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, many questions began to enter the minds of fans.

Four of NASCAR’s brightest young stars occupied the spotlight Monday night as champions in two national series were crowned.

For the majority of the Ford Ecoboost 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, James Buescher ran inside of the top 10, looking to seal the championship. As the race drew into the final laps though, Buescher fell outside of the top 10, almost going a lap down at one point.

With a last lap pass and some fender rubbing with Kyle Busch, Cale Gale was able to become the ninth first-time winner in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Earlier this month, Kyle Busch Motorsports announced that Joey Coulter would drive for them full-time in 2013 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. When the announcement was made, Coulter spoke of making the move to become a champion.

It is an impressive line-up of talent for Ford Championship Weekend, both on and off the track. Pre-race ceremonies at Homestead-Miami Speedway feature a variety of regional and national talent. The 2012 finalist on NBC’s “The Voice” Chris Mann will perform the National Anthem on Sunday for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship Ford EcoBoost 400. CEO of The World Famous West Coast Customs Ryan Friedlinghaus will wave the green flag for Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series Ford EcoBoost 300 as the Honorary Starter.
