Richard Childress Racing's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series history at the Charlotte ROVAL... In three previous Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series starts at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL, Richard Childress Racing's best finish is 11th.

"We are back racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend – Roval edition! We’ve got the No. 11 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Chevy tuned up for this weekend. We have been super killer on the road courses! We’ve got AJ Allmendinger, my lovely teammate, back this weekend in the No. 10 car. I’m excited to see what speed we’ve got this week. It’s a playoff race. Richmond did not quite go our way, but we had a really fast Chevrolet, so as long as we bring that speed and have a little luck, we should have a solid finish this weekend and possibly a win."

JRM on Road Courses: In 109 starts on road courses in the NXS, JRM has earned four wins, 26 top fives and 55 top 10s. Ron Fellows and Regan Smith earned the organization’s first two road course victories at Montreal in 2008 and at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in 2015, while Justin Allgaier went to Victory Lane at Mid-Ohio and Road America last season. In four previous starts at the Roval, JRM has scored a best finish of ninth.

John Hunter Nemechek and GMS Racing will utilize chassis no. 214 this weekend at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL. This chassis has been run two times this season by Nemechek. Once at Watkins Glen International (start: 20th/finish: 12th) and at Road America (start: 14th/finish: 26th).

Austin Cindric and the No. 22 MoneyLion team had a solid opening race to the NASCAR Xfinity Playoffs Friday night at Richmond Raceway. Cindric scored a second-place finish, his 11th top-five of the 2019 season. The driver of the MoneyLion Ford claimed his third top-five in four starts at Richmond Raceway, pushing his average finish at the .75-mile speedway to an impressive 5.5. He remains fourth in NASCAR Xfinity Series point standings, four points behind third-place Tyler Reddick and 48 points behind leader Christopher Bell.

AUSTIN CINDRIC, No. 22 MoneyLion Ford Mustang – A GOOD START TO THE PLAYOFFS. “This is the only double-digit buffer I think I’ve ever had in anything in NASCAR, so I’ll take it. Obviously, a really good night for the MoneyLion Ford Mustang, keeping the Fords up front. Two runner-up finishes here at Richmond is good, but you want to win races, so I’ve got to keep working and keep figuring out how to catch that guy in the 20, but, overall, a great day.”

COLE CUSTER, No. 00 Go Bowling Ford Mustang – THOUGHTS ON THE PLAYOFFS STARTING AND TRYING TO SWEEP THIS YEAR AT RICHMOND. “I think with the Playoffs you just try and up your focus a little bit. You can’t underestimate anybody or change your mindset really. I think you’ve just got to do what you’ve been doing all year and make sure that you get your car handling the way that you want it to. People are gonna make their cars better coming into this race, so you have to make sure you’re on your game.”
