NHRA ON FOX, NHRA SOCIAL TEAMS EARN SIX TELLY AWARDS FOR TELEVISION VIDEO EXCELLENCE

INDIANAPOLIS (June 23, 2026) – The NHRA announced today that its broadcasting team has been honored with six prestigious Telly Awards, including a Gold Telly award for its Chasing Speed documentary.

The six overall Telly Awards, which honor excellence in video and television across all screens, mark another stellar achievement for the broadcasting team and add to an impressive milestone total. The team has now received more than 50 Telly Awards over the past decade.

This year’s total includes one Gold Telly for the NHRA Chasing Speed and five Bronze Tellys.

“Earning six Telly Awards, including a Gold Telly for Chasing Speed, is an incredible achievement for our teams,” NHRA Vice President of Broadcasting Steve Reintjes said. “Their commitment to delivering compelling content and innovative storytelling continues to elevate how fans experience NHRA across every platform. We’re honored to receive this recognition and proud of the work our teams produce throughout the year.”

NHRA’s highly successful Chasing Speed documentary premiered this season on Vice, spotlighting some of the sport’s biggest names and brightest future stars. Episode 106, which focused on motorsports legend and NHRA Top Fuel driver Tony Stewart and his wife, Leah Pruett, earned a Gold Telly in the General Sports category, while also earning a Bronze Telly in the General Documentary: Long Form category.

NHRA also earned Bronze Telly Awards in the General Sports category, including honors for coverage of the prestigious Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, the Texas NHRA FallNationals in Dallas, and its Chasing Speed promotional video.

For the first time, NHRA received a Telly Award for its social media video series NHRA Driven, which gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the daily lives of NHRA drivers at the racetrack. The Bronze Telly was given for a Driven highlighting two-time Top Fuel world champion Brittany Force.

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards were created to honor excellence in local, regional and cable television commercials with non-broadcast video and television programming added soon after. With the recent evolution and rise of digital video (web series, VR, 360, and beyond), the Telly Awards today also reflects and celebrates this exciting new era of the moving image online and offline.

The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work created within television and across video, for all screens. Receiving tens of thousands of entries from all 50 states and five continents, Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies, and publishers from around the world.

Fight to Contretemps: Going From San Diego Street Course to Sonoma Road Course is the Same, but Different

April 26, 2026: NASCAR races at the Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama. (HHP/Chris Owens)

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (June 23, 2026) – It was a street fight last Sunday. Despite being on an active United States military base with a significant law enforcement presence, the NASCAR Cup Series race at Qualcomm Circuit on Naval Base Coronado featured rooting, gouging and departures from the standards of polite society.

There were mangled fenders, bent walls and bruised feelings after the 75-lap race around the 3.4-mile, 16-turn temporary street circuit in San Diego. Spinning cars and seven caution periods consuming 11 laps in the 3-hour and 37-minute affair were the result of conduct more suited to the stables than the drawing room.

Certainly when the Cup Series heads a little more than 530 miles north to Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway for this Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350k, decorum and civility will return. After all, it’s Wine Country, where table settings come with fine linens, refined soil grows the finest grapes, sophistication fills wine glasses, and good taste is an HOA requirement. Cup Series drivers will surely read the room, right?

If history is any indication, no. Fendered fisticuffs will continue unabated, as volume again supersedes persuasion. They are the bull in the proverbial china shop.

“NASCAR is a contact sport on road courses,” said Cody Ware, driver of the No. 51 Super.com Chevrolet for Rick Ware Racing. “We go into it with a have-at-it mentality, to where if there’s a racing surface that you can plant four tires on, you do it. Beating and banging is expected.”

Since the debut of the NextGen car in 2022, there have been an average of 6.5 cautions per race at Sonoma. Most stemmed from spins, stalled cars and drivers getting knocked into barriers. The “Big One” of superspeedway-style crashes doesn’t typically happen. A driver’s own mistake, and other drivers’ lack of patience with their counterparts, are the typical contributing factors.

“Every touch of the gas pedal has consequences that unfold as the race goes on,” Ware said. “You’re managing every decision.”

Ware and his Cup Series brethren are at least in road-course mode after racing at San Diego. Sonoma marks the fourth and final road-course race on the 2026 schedule. The other 32 races on the Cup Series calendar are all on ovals.

“Road racing is where I did a lot of my growing up and learning how to race,” Ware said. “There was a lot of back and forth between stock cars and GT cars and sports cars over the years as I found my place in NASCAR. So I’m always, ‘The more the merrier,’ when it comes to road racing.”

Ware won the 2019-2020 LMP2 championship in the Asian Le Mans Series with co-driver Gustas Grinbergas, and in a prelude to that title, Ware was the 2014 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America Rookie of the Year. In January 2024 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, Ware piloted a Ligier JS P320 to a podium finish in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge LMP3 class. He has also competed in Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup and the NTT IndyCar Series.

Even with a wealth of road-racing experience, Ware’s time on Sonoma’s 1.99-mile, 10-turn layout is limited. He has just five starts at the track, and his drive in last year’s Toyota/Save Mart 350k was his first since 2022.

“Sonoma has a lot of elevation changes and it presents some pretty good passing opportunities,” Ware said. “The layout makes for some really aggressive, tight racing. Anytime you put a stock car on a road course with that kind of elevation, it creates some really good racing. It’s one of the coolest road courses we go to, for sure.”

That Ware was turning left and right a few days prior in San Diego will help his cause in Sonoma.

“Having back-to-back road-course weekends – the steering feel, the braking feel, the power input – it’s all still relevant,” Ware said. “Track conditions between San Diego and Sonoma will obviously be very different, but when you only have a handful of road-course races a year, it’s hard to get into a rhythm. But at least with San Diego, we’re in a bit of a flow. It was a good refresher before tackling Sonoma.”

Ware starts tackling Sonoma at 11 a.m. PDT/2 p.m. EDT on Saturday during practice before qualifying at 12:10 p.m. PDT/3:10 p.m. EDT. TruTV and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will provide live coverage of both. The Toyota/Save Mart 350k goes live at 12:30 p.m. PDT/3:30 p.m. EDT with flag-to-flag coverage delivered by TNT and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

About Rick Ware Racing:

Rick Ware has been a motorsports mainstay for more than 40 years. It began at age 6 when the third-generation racer began his driving career and has since spanned four wheels and two wheels on both asphalt and dirt. Competing in the SCCA Trans Am Series and other road-racing divisions led Ware to NASCAR in the early 1980s, where he finished third in his NASCAR debut – the 1983 Warner W. Hodgdon 300 NASCAR Grand American race at Riverside (Calif.) International Raceway. More than a decade later, injuries would force Ware out of the driver’s seat and into full-time team ownership. In 1995, Rick Ware Racing was formed, and with his wife Lisa by his side, Ware has since built his eponymous organization into an entity that competes full-time in the elite NASCAR Cup Series while simultaneously campaigning successful teams in the Top Fuel class of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, Progressive American Flat Track, FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) and zMAX CARS Tour.

Ford Racing NASCAR – Sonoma Advance

SONOMA

Sunday, June 28– NASCAR Cup Series, 3:30 p.m. ET (TNT)

After competing on an active military base for the first time, the NASCAR Cup Series will return to a more traditional road course this weekend as Sonoma Raceway hosts its annual event on Sunday. It also marks the start of the five-week In-Season Challenge, where drivers compete against each other in a bracket style format with the winner advancing.

BLANEY CONTINUES STREAK

Ryan Blaney ran his streak of Top 10 finishes to five after a ninth-place effort on Sunday in San Diego. Blaney, who led a race-high 12 laps and won the first stage, remains the highest Ford Racing driver in the point standings as he sits third overall. He will be making his 10th NASCAR Cup Series start at Sonoma Raceway this weekend and has finished 10th or better five times. His lone road course victory came in 2018 at the inaugural Bank of America Roval 400.

SMITH HAVING CAREER YEAR

Zane Smith is in the midst of having his best NASCAR Cup Series campaign and his effort in San Diego was further proof as he was Ford’s top finisher in fourth. That marked the California native’s sixth Top-10 run of the season, which is one more than his previous single-season high of five last year. Smith, who won the 2022 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship with Front Row Motorsports, has three Cup starts at Sonoma Raceway with his best finish being 16th in 2024.

HALL OF FAME TIES

Ford has won eight times at Sonoma and the one thing all of those winners have in common is that the owners are members of the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Robert Yates (Class of 2018) won this event three times (Davey Allison, 1991; Ernie Irvan, 1994; and Ricky Rudd, 2002), while Jack Roush (Class of 2019) has two victories (Mark Martin, 1997 and Carl Edwards, 2014). Bud Moore (Class of 2011) took Geoffrey Bodine to Victory Lane in 1993 while Roger Penske (Class of 2019) did the same with Rusty Wallace in 1996 and Tony Stewart (Class of 2020) with Kevin Harvick in 2017.

SITTING ON 749

The next Ford win will be its 750th all-time in NASCAR’s top series. Ned Jarrett is Ford’s win leader with 43 while Bill Elliott is second with 40. Shirtless Jimmy Florian scored the Blue Oval’s first series victory when he upset the likes of Lee Petty, Curtis Turner and Joe Weatherly at Dayton Speedway on June 25, 1950. Florian earned his nickname after getting out of his 1950 flathead Ford without a shirt. Overall, 91 drivers have won at least one series race with Ford, including notable drivers Mario Andretti, Dan Gurney, Parnelli Jones, A.J. Foyt, Richard Petty, and Dale Earnhardt.

CHRIS BUESCHER: “To go from San Diego to a place like Sonoma that has more flow, more smoothness, and more elevation change without the jumps, it will be a big relief in a lot of ways. I like road racing and the team has put fast race cars under me. Something clicks when we get there and we’re able to take the flow of that racetrack and turn it into results.”

ZANE SMITH: “I enjoy the area of Sonoma and just spending time up in Napa, but from a racetrack standpoint the elevation is certainly fun there. I honestly have enjoyed the repave with how it’s aging. It’s aging dramatically, but I feel like it’s fun right now. The differences between what we raced on in San Diego and what we’ll see at Sonoma are dramatic just because of the bumps alone.”

HARVICK WINS FIRST RACE WITH FORD

Kevin Harvick stretched his fuel over the final 40 laps in 2017 to bring home his first win with Ford and first win at Sonoma, besting teammate Clint Bowyer and fellow Ford Brad Keselowski in a 1-2-3 showing for the Blue Oval. Harvick, who was part of the Stewart-Haas Racing organization that switched to Ford prior to the 2017 season, took the lead from Brad Keselowski with 22 laps to go and won for the 36th time in his career as the race ended under yellow. Harvick, who eventually went on to win 25 races with Ford, finished his career with 60 overall triumphs before retiring after the 2023 season. He will be inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in January.

EDWARDS NETS FIRST ROAD COURSE WIN

Recent NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Carl Edwards held off Jeff Gordon on the final lap to post the first road win of his NCS career in 2014 with car owner Jack Roush. He did it thanks to a two-stop strategy and a timely caution. Edwards had just pitted on lap 70 when NASCAR threw a caution for debris one lap later. While most of the field decided to pit for new tires, Edwards and fellow Ford driver Marcos Ambrose stayed out and gained the necessary track position that put both in position to win. Ambrose took the lead from Clint Bowyer on lap 81 and brought Edwards with him, but another restart with 25 to go saw Ambrose and Edwards sharing the front row. Edwards got the jump and took the lead, which he never surrendered, although a hard-charging Gordon made it interesting on the final lap.

FORD’S NASCAR CUP SERIES WINNERS AT SONOMA

1994 – Ernie Irvan

1996 – Rusty Wallace

1997 – Mark Martin

Types of Traffic Signs New Drivers Should Know Before a Driving Exam

Photo by Omar Ramadan on Pexels

Traffic signs are the foundation of structured driving worldwide. They serve to communicate critical information about road conditions, hazards, navigation, and legal restrictions. If you are preparing for your first driving test or honing your existing knowledge, gaining an understanding of the meanings behind traffic signs is required.

Many drivers, while learning, find that learning all the traffic signs can be difficult due to the sheer number of different signs. Fortunately, using aids such as this exam preparation tool can help familiarize yourself with commonly tested signs with practice questions and realistic exam scenarios. Frequently exposing yourself to traffic signs and scenarios can drastically improve your recognition and increase your confidence before testing.

Primary Traffic Sign Categories

While there is significant variation in specifics across countries, most traffic signs can be grouped into a few main categories. Understanding the communication goals of each category is a fantastic way to begin learning individual signs.

  • Regulatory Signs – Signs that enforce laws and restrictions, such as stop and speed limit signs.
  • Guide Signs – Signs that communicate directions, route information, or nearby points of interest, commonly found on highways.
  • Warning Signs – Signs showing potential hazards, such as sharp turns, intersections, railways, or poor road conditions.
  • Pedestrian / School Zone – Signs that serve to improve safety in high foot traffic areas.
  • Temporary Signs – Signs used during road maintenance or for events that require a roadway to be blocked or restricted.

Important Regulatory Signs

Regulatory signs are incredibly important to understand because they communicate the legal driving requirements. Failure to obey any of these signs can result in points being added, removal of your driving privileges, or immediate test failure.

Ensure that you understand your region’s signs that indicate, stop, speed limit, yield, no-entry, no-turn, one-way, and parking restriction signs. Knowledge of all the regulatory signs is critical in making sure you drive safely and responsibly.

Understanding Warning Signs

Warning Signs serve to prepare drivers for incoming hazards and encourage drivers to modify their driving behavior. Warning signs are important for navigating dangerous areas to ensure driver safety.

Example signs you may see are:

  • Sharp Bend
  • Steep Grade
  • Merging Traffic
  • Slippery Surface

Exams often test whether you can identify warning signs and respond appropriately to the situation.

Directional Information and Guide Signs

Guide signs help you find your way through the area and understand where you’re going. They provide information such as highway exits, route numbers, and nearby points of interest.

These types of signs are often overlooked because they’re not as critically important compared to other signs. However, becoming more knowledgeable about guide signs will reduce confusion and improve your overall road awareness. During testing, you may be tested on interpreting route information, directional instructions, or lane guidance.

Common Mistakes by Learners

A common mistake, and a frustration to many, is memorization without understanding. Cramming information into your head to quickly make connections is only useful in the short term and may cause confusion later when you encounter an unfamiliar sign.

Similarly, the inability to distinguish between similar-looking traffic signs is another common pain point for many. For example, the American yield sign resembles many warning signs. Repetition and practice are common ways to overcome both these problems.

For learners in Saudi Arabia and other regions where multiple languages are spoken, it is also important to become familiar with bilingual signage and to understand it quickly and reliably.

Bottom Line

Understanding traffic signs isn’t simply about passing a driving exam; it’s to help you and other drivers make well-informed decisions to avoid hazards and make the road a safer place. By using this article alongside other preparation tools, you can improve your driving exam performance or your long-term driving skills.

Comparing Birth Control Options: A Guide for Red Deer Couples

Selecting an appropriate method of contraception is a critical decision for couples who desire to space pregnancies, avoid unintended pregnancy, and protect their reproductive health. With a number of choices at your disposal, knowing the pros and cons of each method will enable couples in Red Deer to make an educated decision that is suitable for their lifestyle and overall objectives.

Hormonal Birth Control Methods

Hormonal birth control is one of the most popular types of birth control. These are birth control pills, patches, shot/injection, vaginal rings, and hormonal IUDs. They prevent ovulation and change the lining of the uterus and the mucus around the cervix, making it less likely that you will become pregnant.

They are preferred by many because they are highly effective when used properly. They can, however, be high-maintenance, requiring ongoing care, frequent prescriptions, and they may have side effects that include mood shifts, headaches, or fluctuations in weight.

Barrier Methods

Barrier methods create a physical barrier between sperm and egg. Condoms, diaphragms, and cervical caps are examples of barrier methods. Condoms also reign as a staple item in everyone’s bedroom because, in addition to helping prevent pregnancy, they offer a layer of protection against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Although barrier methods, such as condoms, are readily accessible and hormone-free, they are less effective than other methods, particularly if not used properly or consistently. For couples looking for a temporary and adjustable solution, these techniques are at the end of the practical scale.

Intrauterine Devices (IUDs)

IUDs are tiny devices that a healthcare provider inserts into the uterus. They come in a hormonal and non-hormonal version and can be used for long-term prevention of pregnancy for up to several years.

Convenience is one of the major benefits of IUDs.

They are low-maintenance and formulate seggular life a highly reliable method of birth control. However, a few people have pain at the time of insertion, or will have temporary adverse effects thereafter.

Permanent Birth Control Options

When you and your partner know for sure there’s no need for more kids, permanent birth control might be worth talking about. Female sterilization and vasectomy are the most common methods.

A vasectomy is a safe and effective way to stop sperm from mixing with semen. Because it is less invasive, has an even shorter recovery time and a very high success rate, a no-scalpel vasectomy in Red Deer is chosen by many couples. A no-scalpel vasectomy in Red Deer also tends to be simpler and to involve less risk than female sterilization in Red Deer.

Natural Family Planning

In this section, there are three natural family planning methods that you can use to calculate your fertile days by monitoring signs of fertility, including body temperature and your menstrual cycle. While these methods steer clear of hormones and medical interventions, they do take dedication, consistency, and a lot of monitoring to be dependable.

Finding the Right Choice

Usage-Related: Every couple has unique health considerations, preferences, and family-planning objectives. A doctor can guide you towards one that best fits your needs. If you are looking for short-term contraception or a permanent solution, such as a no-scalpel vasectomy in Red Deer, the first thing you want to do is know your options so you can make a decision you feel confident about.

How to Extend the Life of Your Roof in Central Alberta’s Climate

The climate of central Alberta can be hard on household and commercial roofing materials. Freezing winters, heavy snow, high winds, hail, and warm summer temperatures all contribute to the continual beating roofs take in this part of the world. Routine maintenance and prompt repairs go a long way in extending the life of your roof and preventing expensive damage to your home.

Take one more step to help extend the life of your roof and have it inspected on a regular basis. Even small problems like a couple of loose shingles, cracked flashing, or a few drips can escalate into a huge mess if left unattended. When you hire a professional like Cooper Roofing Red Deer, you can rest assured that your roof is properly inspected so that you can catch any issues early before they turn into costly repairs.

Another useful tip to make your roof last longer is to keep it clean. Leaves, branches, dirt, and moss can hide moisture, causing decay. Clean regularly to avoid accumulation of water that might favor the growth of mold and cause damage to the structure. Homeowners who trust the roofing specialists at Cooper Roofing Red Deer to be their partners in year-round roof maintenance for every part of their roofing system.

Attic ventilation and insulation are equally important for roof performance.

In Central Alberta, poor ventilation may also lead to ice damming in the winter. Instead, heat escapes through the roof, melting the snow, which then refreezes at the edges, forming ice dams. This trapped water can run under your shingles and do a lot of damage. Proper insulation and ventilation favor this type of temperature control and moisture problem prevention.

It is just as important to cut off the storm damage. Portions of Central Alberta have high winds and hail, which may damage the roofing material. Homeowners should also check their roofs for shingles that may be missing, dented, or worn after severe weather. Professional evaluations from the likes of Cooper Roofing Red Deer can advise you if the repairs are worth investing in so you can protect your home from further damage.

In addition, gutters and downspouts need to be routinely cleaned. When drainage systems are blocked, water may flood out and flow down the sides of the roof, where it can leak into the house and cause water damage. Cleaning gutters twice a year also contributes to proper water flow, protecting the roof and the foundation of the house.

In the end, purchasing high-quality roofing materials and having them installed by a professional can go a long way towards a longer life for your roof. Long-lasting materials, engineered to handle Alberta’s hectic weather, generally deliver greater value over time and require less repair. The best roofing companies, like Cooper Roofing Red Deer, can offer that assurance with their vast experience, which means your roofing system will be installed properly to industry standards and designed to last.

While no one can completely protect their roof from the harsh Alberta weather, combining inspections, preventative maintenance, ventilation, timely repairs, and some luck, homeowners can protect their investment and get the longest life possible out of their roofs. Being proactive now might save you from expensive roof-related headaches down the road.

Energy-Saving Cooling Tips for Edmonton Homeowners This Summer

As temperatures begin to rise this summer in Edmonton, it’s no wonder that homeowners want to find relief from the heat without breaking the bank on energy costs. Luckily, there are several easy things you can do that will help you stay cool and save money on household expenses. With a little regular maintenance and the right habits, you can have a comfortably cool home without energy waste.

One way you can increase your efficiency is to have your air conditioning system serviced regularly. Dirty filters, blocked coils, and broken parts make it harder for the unit to work. AC repair professionals can also detect other hidden problems early in your system, allowing you to maintain peak performance while avoiding expensive repairs during the hottest day of the season.

Managing your thermostat properly is also a major contributor to energy savings. Turning your thermostat up a few degrees while you are not home can save a good amount of electricity. Adding a programmable or smart thermostat enables you to make automatic changes according to your daily routine and helps prevent wasted cooling. If the system is having trouble meeting the target temperature, reputable AC repair companies can check out the machinery and get it running efficiently again.

Increase your chances of staying cool in the summer by insulating your home properly and keeping heat out. Keep blinds or drapes drawn in the afternoon, particularly on south- and west-facing windows, to keep the heat of the sun out of your home.

Weatherstripping around windows and doors also stops cool air from leaking out. In conjunction with ceiling fans that push the conditioned air down, these steps take some of the load off your cooling system, and you’ll remain more comfortable inside.

Outdoor maintenance should be addressed as well. Ensure the perimeter of your condenser unit is clear of debris, overgrown vegetation, and any other items that could impede airflow. A clean, clear unit runs more efficiently and wastes less energy. If unusual sounds, poor airflow, or a cooling inconsistency occur, more full-service AC repair solutions can address those issues before they worsen.

Lastly, keep in mind that a little bit of habit goes a long way every day. Don’t use heat-generating appliances such as the oven during the hottest part of the day, switch to LED bulbs to reduce the heat inside and leave interior doors open for circulation. These Are Easy Practices That You Should Be Doing To Make Your Air Conditioner’s Effort Easier And To Keep Your Monthly Utility Bills Down. Thanks to preventative maintenance, smart temperature control, and energy-efficient, Edmonton homeowners can stay cool throughout the summer, without worrying about the cost of keeping their home cool. When issues arise, prompt AC repair services can help keep your cooling system reliable, efficient, and ready to meet the demands of the season.

NASCAR Studios and Words + Pictures Hit Docuseries “RISING” Returns for Season 2, Streaming Exclusively on Xumo Play

New Season Follows Dynamic Young Stars Including Carson Hocevar, Connor Zilisch and Brenden “Butterbean” Queen

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (June 23, 2026) – NASCAR Studios, in partnership with Emmy® Award-winning studio Words + Pictures, today announced that Season 2 of its acclaimed documentary series RISING will stream exclusively on Xumo Play, continuing an inside look at the sport’s next generation of stars as they navigate the pressure, promise and unpredictability of professional stock car racing.

Under the agreement, Xumo Play, a free ad-supported TV (FAST) service available across all major streaming platforms that offers hundreds of channels and thousands of on-demand titles, will serve as the exclusive streaming home of RISING Season 2 for six months following the release of the final installment. Episodes will also be published on NASCAR’s YouTube channel 14 days after their original air date on Xumo Play.

“With the launch of RISING Season 2 exclusively on Xumo Play, we’re building on the partnership we established with Xumo last year to expand our digital footprint and make the sport more accessible to fans across the country,” said Alma Angeles-Parvaz, Vice President, Partnership Marketing, NASCAR. “Xumo’s focus on simplicity and discoverability complements NASCAR’s approach to storytelling and content, creating a strong alignment that helps us better serve fans and bring them closer to the sport.”

Season 2 of RISING expands on the momentum generated by the breakout first season that has generated over 11 million views over five episodes across NASCAR’s YouTube channel and FOX Sports networks with unprecedented access to some of the sport’s most compelling personalities and emerging talents. Season 1 is available to watch on-demand on Xumo Play.

“Our relationship with NASCAR continues to evolve with the forthcoming launch of RISING season 2 on Xumo Play,” said Fern Feistel, Vice President, Marketing, Xumo. “Serving as the exclusive streaming home for the new season underscores our commitment to the sport and to delivering premium programming that resonates with fans.”

Among the featured drivers this season:

Carson Hocevar returns after emerging as a breakout personality in the first season of RISING when he had a pair of second place finishes in the Cup Series and backed down from no one. Known for his fearless driving style and prodigious talent, the 23-year-old Portage, Michigan native has become even more of a force this season, earning his first Cup Series victory at storied Talladega in April and putting himself in prime position to qualify for the postseason Chase.

Connor Zilisch, widely regarded as NASCAR’s top prospect since Jeff Gordon, makes his RISING debut as he tackles his first full-time NASCAR Cup Series campaign with Trackhouse Racing. Nicknamed “The Prodigy,” the 19-year-old has dominated nearly every level of motorsports he has entered since beginning his racing journey at age four. After winning 11 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts races last season, Zilisch has been facing the steep learning curve of competing against NASCAR’s elite while balancing the realities of life as a teenager still living at home in suburban Charlotte.

Brenden “Butterbean” Queen has undertaken an extraordinary – and unlikely – rise from longshoreman to NASCAR driver and ARCA champion. With a memorable nickname (“Butterbean”), a signature look (mullet), and a dedicated following (“Bean Nation”), the 28-year-old everyman has emerged as one of the most colorful drivers in the sport. Until 2022, Queen worked daily 12-hour shifts as a third-generation longshoreman in Virginia, until he decided to make driving his full-time priority. This year marks his first full season in the Truck Series as part of the newly launched RAM team.

RISING continues NASCAR’s commitment to showcasing the personalities, sacrifices and stories behind the helmets while giving fans unprecedented access to the sport’s future stars.

Episodes will be released monthly beginning in August.

“RISING was created to give fans a deeper connection to the drivers shaping the future of NASCAR, and Season 2 continues to fulfill that mission,” said John Dahl, SVP, Content, NASCAR. “These are compelling young personalities navigating immense pressure and opportunity in real time, and through our partnership with Words + Pictures and Xumo Play, we’re able to bring audiences closer than ever to their journeys.”

The project was produced by FULL SPEED ENTERTAINMENT, the production partnership between NASCAR Studios and Words + Pictures which focuses on elevating the cultural footprint of NASCAR, its drivers, and teams through bold storytelling, talent-driven initiatives, premium content, and large-scale specials.

RISING is executive produced by Tim Clark and John Dahl from NASCAR Studios, along with Connor Schell, Libby Geist, Aaron Cohen and Tally Hair from Words + Pictures. It’s directed and produced by Matthew Chase from Words + Pictures.
