Team: No. 99 Scotts EZ Seed Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Bob Osborne
Chassis: RK-756 – New car
Carl Edwards on racing at Richmond International Raceway:
“We’re going to Richmond leading the points and we’ve been having a great season. We ran really well at Phoenix and our team is hoping that will translate into a good run at Richmond. I think our team has shown that it can run well on short tracks this season. Matt Kenseth ran really well at Martinsville, we ran really well at Phoenix and I could not be going to a better track this weekend. Going in with the point lead is great. There’s no pressure, just go and have a good time and just race.”
Crew chief Bob Osborne on racing at Richmond International Raceway:
“Richmond is a challenge to get the set-up just right when we practice in the day and race at night, but we’ll work on it throughout the race to get it where it needs to be. We won the pole there and led 95 laps last fall so it’s certainly a track where we can run well. We’re taking a new car this weekend which should be good, so it will be up to us to keep up with the track as the sun sets and the temperature goes down.”
