This Week’s Impala… The No. 31 SEM Products team will hit the track with chassis TMS-129 this weekend at Charlotte. This is a brand new chassis for Allgaier and the No. 31 team.
Looking Back … Allgaier made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut at Charlotte Motor Speedway in October 2008. The 22-year-old started 14th and went on to finish in the 34th spot. Since his debut in the series, he has gone on to earn one win, three poles, 14 top-5 and 39 top-10 finishes.

Lending a Hand to Habitat for Humanity – On Friday morning, Allgaier, along with Turner Motorsports teammates Reed Sorenson, Jason Leffler, James Buescher and crew members, will join Habitat for Humanity of Cabarrus County in a Women Build project in Concord, N.C. The team will be at the build site from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with drivers available to the media from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The “Women Build” was started over 20 years ago in Charlotte, N.C. and is now an international movement accounting for over 1,750 women-built Habitat homes across the United States. Even though the event is termed a “Women Build”, men are encouraged to participate and work in honor of an important woman in their lives.
Justin Allgaier on Charlotte Motor Speedway:
“I’m excited to be racing at Charlotte this weekend. Not only do we get to spend time at home but it’s the track where I made my Nationwide Series debut. It is a fast track with steep banking that you hit wide open and hope to hold through the turns, along with unique straightaways. The No. 31 team has been strong this season and we need to continue to stay in the championship hunt and get a win under our belts. We are so close and I have no doubt that a trip to victory lane is right around the corner. ”
