Matt Kenseth – Affliction Clothing – New Hampshire Advance

Matt Kenseth – NSCS ADVANCE

Team:          No. 17 Affliction Clothing Live Fast Ford Fusion

Crew Chief:  Jimmy Fennig

Chassis:      Primary: RK-766 (last raced at All-Star Race)

Kenseth on racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway: “New Hampshire is a lot like a larger Martinsville when I think of a track to compare it to. Your car needs to turn really well at Loudon and that seems to be the biggest thing I always fight; getting the car to turn in the middle of the corner. It seems that if you can have a car that turns well then it makes the rest of the overall handling a lot easier.  Usually the guy that can roll through the middle of the corner fastest is the guy that will have a shot to win.”

Crew chief Jimmy Fennig on racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway: “Looking ahead to this weekend at New Hampshire, we’re hoping to learn as much as we can from our car in order to return to Loudon in the Fall for the Chase.  Our goal is always to make sure that we give Matt the best equipment we can each and every week to be consistent and make the Chase once again this year.  We’ll take what we learn this weekend and hopefully add to our notes as we prepare for the Chase.  Loudon is a difficult track to pass at and it really is a place that makes drivers and teams work for a good finish.”
