THE QUOTES

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., No. 6 Fastenal Ford Mustang: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT ROAD COURSES IN GENERAL? “It’s definitely foreign to me, but, then again, it’s a lot of fun. Sometimes it gets frustrating just because you have some of these guys that come in and are just really, really good at it and it frustrates you when you can’t go up and run with them, but it’s a lot of fun still. It’s something new and something different and you always learn no matter what right down to the checkered flag, so I enjoy that.”

COMMENT ON RACING AT CIRCUIT GILLES VILLENEUVE. “We had some decent speed at Montreal last year. We pitted and thought we were going to be on a good pit sequence. We were just going to kind of ride around and came around the blind corner there, Turn 5 I think, and they were stopped and we got in a wreck. Hopefully we can keep from doing that but felt like we had a top-10 car there so we’re looking forward to going back.”

IS MONTREAL THE MOST CHALLENGING ROAD COURSE? “I think so for me. I’d been to Road America before last year and I was really comfortable there. Last year was my first time at Montreal was the first time I went to last year and it’s pretty difficult with the braking zones and stuff like that. Montreal is probably one of the toughest ones.”
