No. 17 GearWrench Toyota Tundra
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race 19 of 25
New Hampshire Motor Speedway
BACK TO BASICS: Timothy Peters and the No. 17 GearWrench Toyota Tundra team will travel north this weekend to enjoy some clam chowder, lobster and racing. The No. 17 team will proudly carry the black and red GearWrench colors this weekend as Peters tries to rebound from two trying weeks. The team will bring the same truck that won earlier this season at Lucas Oil Raceway. Peters and the team hope to turn their season around and climb back up the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series point standings as the series completes the 19th race of the 2011 season.
Last season Peters earned his career best finish of sixth at the 1.0-mile track. Peters hopes to continue that trend and earn his first win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
THE CLOSER: According to NASCAR’s Loop Data Statistics thus far in 2011, Peters leads the “Closer” category. Peters has gained more positions in the last 10 percent of the race than any other driver. On average, Peters moves up 1.4 positions which has accumulated to gaining 25 positions over the last 18 races as the event comes to a close.
MEDIA ALERT: This weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Peters will be featured on Trackside Live! Friday night airing at 11:30pm, EDT. Peters and a special group of students from technical colleges across the New England area will join the Trackside Live staff for a special tricycle race. Each tricycle will be built exclusively using GearWrench tools. The winners of the tricycle competition will join Peters and the No. 17 team in the garage area on Saturday to watch the race from pit road.
CHASSIS HISTORY: The No. 17 team will utilize chassis No. 137 this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This chassis last competed at Lucas Oil Raceway where Peters earned his first win of 2011. Chassis No. 137 also competed earlier this season where Peters earned a fifth place finish. Chassis No. 137 has a 2011 season average finish of third.
PREVIOUS RACE RECAP: Last week at Chicagoland Speedway, Peters and the No. 17 team fought an ill-handling race truck throughout the event. Peters was able to salvage a top-20 finish and cross the finish line in the 17th position. Peters dropped one position to fourth in the championship standings 20 markers out of the lead spot.

Timothy Peters Talks about New Hampshire Motor Speedway:
What do you think the key is to getting around New Hampshire Motor Speedway?
“New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a very challenging track, there and Phoenix has been what I consider to be my “Achilles heel” tracks. However, last year we ran well and I got my career-best finish so I’m optimistic about our race this year. I’m happy to get back to a 1.0-mile track so we can get our team steered back in the right direction.”
About Red Horse Racing: Founded in 2005 by former Mobil Corporation executive Tom DeLoach and NASCAR veteran Jeff Hammond, Red Horse Racing aims to be a professional racing team that strives for excellence on and off the race track. Red Horse Racing hopes to build and maintain solid, mutual relationships with its partners to win races and championships and to represent itself in a professional manner. The team has four victories and five poles in its brief existence. DeLoach and Hammond also own Performance Instruction Training (PIT), the number one pit crew training center in the world that also has many corporate training options that include team-building, lean manufacturing, motorsports demonstrations and more.
