James Buescher on driving at Kentucky Speedway
“Kentucky Speedway is a great facility. We all look forward to going there and know it is going to be a great race. To be successful at the track your truck has to be versatile. The track is worn out and you have to be able to move around to find as much grip as possible. There seems to always be long green flag runs, which means the pit crew is going to be vital to our success. The Turner Motorsports guys do a great job each and every week picking up spots on the pit lane and I expect more of the same on Saturday night.
We are taking my favorite truck this weekend. It seems to really react to changes and it always is fast right off the hauler. [Crew Chief] Michael [Shelton] and [team engineer] Hal [Ralston] have been working really hard on our mile-and-a-half program and we seem to have hit on a couple of things that I think will help us in Kentucky.”
