Starting ninth, White ran just outside the top-five for most of the 152-lap event. Restarting second with two laps to go, White spun his tires and went three-wide before getting shuffled back while fighting to hold on to a top-five finish. The No. 23 GunBroker.com Chevrolet crossed the start/finish line in the fifth position, White’s first top-five finish of 2011.

That’s What He Said…Quoting Jason White:

“Kentucky (Speedway) is my favorite mile-and-a-half track we come to. It’s really bumpy and rough, and there are a lot of different grooves and lines you can run. Our season best finish thus far was here in July. We ran in the top-five most of the day and with two laps to go I spun my tires on a restart. We were strong all weekend and although we are bringing a different chassis than we raced in July, we know what to come back with to unload fast right off the truck. I have high hopes going into this weekend and want to prove to my sponsor, my team, especially Joe (Denette), and all of my fans that I am here to win. I have confidence in my team and can’t wait to get started this weekend. I’m pumped!”
