Zachry-sponsored David Starr 10th in points after Rockingham; ready for Kansas
San Antonio (April 19, 2012) – David Starr and the Arrington Racing team raced “the Rock” on Saturday April 15, 2012, finishing 13th and placing 10th in points for the season. With Rockingham on his heels, Starr is ready to race the SFP250 with the updated No. 81 Toyota Tundra at the Kansas Speedway, Saturday, April 21, 2012.
From changing weather patterns to a difficult qualifying at Rockingham, the race presented some challenges. Despite an older track and warmer weather, Starr and Arrington Racing managed continual truck adjustment from the practice to the final lap.
“All of the competitors were slipping and sliding around the track,” Starr said. “Making the perfect adjustments on the truck was an obstacle for the Zachry race team; but in the end we brought home a solid finish.”
As the team looks forward to Saturday’s race, fans can expect a new look for the No. 81 Toyota Tundra with Zachry serving as associate sponsor.
Other sponsors throughout the season include, AdvoCare; Build Your Future; Linda Rudd and Steve Hellmuth with Striping Technologies; Chasco Constructors; Allegro Marinades; fentonmotors.com; and Aubrey Health Mart Pharmacy.
