CONCORD, North Carolina (May 16, 2012) – – The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) tour resumes action this weekend at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway for the running of the N.C. Education Lottery 200 this Friday night.
The No. 99 Ford F-150 driven by Stuart, Florida native Bryan Silas will boast a new decal on their hood, as the family-owned team welcomes Martin Downs Animal Hospital as the primary marketing partner for the fifth race of the season.
Located in Palm City, Florida, Martin Downs Animal Hospital is a multilingual full-service state of the art veterinary medical and American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Accredited facility. The professional and courteous staff at Martin Downs Animal Hospital seeks to provide the best possible medical care, surgical care and dental care for their highly valued patients. They are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for their clients.
The new partnership is rightfully filling for the 24-year old driver and his family, as they are big animal lovers and advocates. Furthermore, the Silas’ are excited to welcome Martin Downs Animal Hospital to the world of NASCAR.
“We’re extremely appreciative of the support from the Martin Downs Animal Hospital and all of their staff,” said Silas. “It’s nice to have some local (home) support leaping aboard to help continue to make our transition to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series a positive one. I’m hoping to give them a good showing on Friday night.”
After a humbling top-20 experience last May at CMS, Silas is looking forward to racing under the lights and delivering his Cal Boprey-led organization their best finish of the season.
“Charlotte’s a great place to race,” Silas sounded. “I love it. It’s incredibly fast and there’s room to race. We had a pretty good truck last year. Unfortunately, we ran out of laps to earn a better finish. We’ve been hard at work on our No. 99 Florida Martin Downs Animal Hospital Ford F-150 making sure we’re as competitive as possible for the race. A solid top-15 finish would feel like a win for us.”
Silas anticipates making his 24th career NCWTS start and third overall at the 1.5-mile oval this weekend.
