Carl Edwards on racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway:
“Loudon has been really hot and cold for us. It is a great race track for us because the Red Sox and Fenway Sports Group are based up there. A win would be huge to have there. It is a flat, simple track and that makes it really hard because most people know how to get around it but you have to have the car perfect and drive perfectly. We had a chance to do the tire test up there a couple months ago and I think that helped me a little bit. It is a deceivingly tough track.”
Crew chief Bob Osborne on racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway:
“New Hampshire is a challenging track and the race often comes down to fuel mileage. Carl runs well there, although our results don’t always show that. We were able to spend some extra time there for the tire test in May so that is a place we can certainly use the extra practice.”
