Indianapolis, IN – Today, this Saturday July 28th 2012, the #44 BanditChippers.com Toyota will take to the infamous Brickyard at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with Mike Bliss behind the wheel for the first ever NASCAR Nationwide Series event at the track. Bandit Industries Inc. and the Black & Yellow Chipper paint scheme is back on the track after its most recent run as primary on the #44 at Daytona, where Mike finished 8th. After Daytona Mike finished 12th in New Hampshire and 13th in Chicago and currently sits firmly in 8th position in the NNS standings.
This year with Mike and the TriStar Motorsports Team partnership has been a very successful one and the 8th place finish we scored at Daytona was our Top finish in NASCAR for our company,” said Bandit’s Travis Lint. “We were proud to be a part of the effort at Daytona and as a company we wanted to partner again at Indy. The significance of the 1st ever NNS race ever here, the momentum with Mike and historically what the Brickyard represents is very powerful. It will be something special to see that #44 BanditChippers.com Toyota Camry on track come race time .”

Mike took the #44 BanditChippers.com Toyota to the track for practice on Thursday and ran the 4th fastest time during session 1 and the 18th fastest time during session 2. Session 1 included a mock qualifying run and session 2 did not. Qualifying will be live on SPEED at 12:30pm ET and the race coverage begins at 4pm ET on ESPN.
