The LACS Join Lineup at Coca-Cola Fan Stage, Fast Cars & Guitars Pre-Race Concert Featuring Montgomery Gentry Presented by Bad Boy Buggies at Atlanta Motor Speedway

Fans Have Opportunity to Win AdvoCare 500 Tickets, Meet The LACS

HAMPTON, Ga. (Aug. 9, 2012) – The LACS, a Georgia-based music group, will join the music lineup on Sunday, Sept. 2 at Atlanta Motor Speedway prior to the AdvoCare 500, adding to the festive atmosphere of the biggest Labor Day party in the USA.

Based out of Baxley, Ga., the band boasts a music style that is a combination of rap and country music, similar to that of Colt Ford. Their top hits, on the Average Joe’s Entertainment label, include “Kickin’ Up Mud” and “Country Boy’s Paradise.”

Featuring artist Clay Sharpe and lead vocalist/guitarist Brian King, The LACS will perform twice at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sept. 2. They’ll play on the Coca-Cola Fan Stage at 2:00 p.m. and also be the opening act at 4:40 p.m. for the Fast Cars & Guitars pre-race concert featuring Montgomery Gentry, presented by Bad Boy Buggies.

Fans can be stagefront for the pre-race concert and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver intros for $49.

“I was raised on NASCAR, so it is more than a dream come true to play at a NASCAR race!,” Sharpe said. “The fact it’s at our home track and we’re playing with our boys Montgomery Gentry is just icing on the cake!”

The LACS are also giving fans a chance to meet the band and take in the AdvoCare 500 through a contest for their fans, “Kickin’ Up at AMS.” Fans are encouraged to submit, in 250 words or less, their definition of “Kickin’ Up at AMS.” A total of 10 winners will receive the following: a pair of tickets to the AdvoCare 500, pit and infield access for two, two LACS CD’s, two LACS t-shirts and a meet and greet with The LACS for two.
