After a 20th-place finish in their debut with the Ricky Benton Racing (RBR) Enterprises No. 92 Black’s Tire and Auto Service/fleetHQ.com/QMI Chevrolet team at Chicagoland last month, driver Chad McCumbee and crew chief Kevin Starland look to break into the top-10 in their second outing at Bristol Motor Speedway.

RBR at Bristol Motor Speedway: RBR Enterprises will be attempting to make its third start at Bristol this week. In the team’s previous two starts, the truck has come home in 12th (2010) and 14th (2011) position.

McCumbee at Chicagoland Speedway: Chad McCumbee will be attempting to make his fourth career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Bristol Motor Speedway. In those four starts, he had a career-best finish of 11th in 2008.

This week’s truck: RBR Enterprises is bringing TK92-03 to Bristol as its primary entry for the UNOH 200. David Reutimann piloted the truck to a top-20 finish at Martinsville in March.

The truck will be sporting primary sponsors Black’s Tire and Auto Service on the quarter panel, fleetHQ.com on the hood and QMI on the rear deck. The truck will also be adorned with the logo of Carnegie Hotel of Johnson City, Tennessee.

On what the team learned at Chicago…

I was very pleased with the communication between Cowboy and I as we dialed in our truck there and we will be able to build on that for Bristol. Even though the tracks are very different I think Cowboy has a grasp of what I want to feel week in and week out.

On the newly redesigned Bristol…

We are really moving into uncharted territory at Bristol this weekend with the new surface. I feel we will see somewhat of the old Bristol; on the bottom, bump and run type racing. This is our first short track outing and will give us a good idea of what direction we need to head with that part of our program. I look forward to a very solid performance this week.

On the team’s goals at Bristol…

We have been working on this short track truck since we got back from Chicago last month. This Bristol outing will be a great chance for us to evaluate our short track program.
