No. 11 Toyota Care Toyota Tundra
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series | Race 17 of 22
Las Vegas Motor Speedway | Smith’s 350
Superspeedway Strongpoint: Todd Bodine and the No. 11 Toyota Care Tundra team travel to Talladega Superspeedway this Saturday to take on one of the most unpredictable races of the season. With four restrictor plate victories to his credit, Bodine has proven he knows how to make the right moves to claim the trophy at superspeedways as the only NASCAR Camping World Truck Series regular competing this weekend to claim a win at the 2.66-mile track. Coming off of a top-five finish last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Bodine has momentum and the confidence in the same Toyota Tundra he raced to a sixth place finish with at Daytona in February on his side for the 250-lap main event on Saturday.
“I can’t wait for Talladega. We had a great Tundra at Daytona, and Rick Gay and the No. 11 Toyota Care Tundra team have made a couple little tweaks on it but I think we will definitely have a good shot at the win,” Bodine claimed.
“Last week our Toyota Care Tundra team was the hardest working crew on pit road and made a ton of adjustments to get us a top-five. We’re not going to change that never give up attitude this week and we know that we’ll have a solid chance at the win. Both of our teammates are strong and can be good drafting partners, so there’s no doubt in my mind that Red Horse Racing will be up front.”
Appearing in Talladega: Todd Bodine will be making an exclusive appearance to help kick off Toyota Quality Month at Toyota Motors Manufacturing Mississippi in Blue Springs, Mississippi on Wednesday, October 3, from 3:30-6:00 pm CST. Bodinewill join his Red Horse Racing teammates Timothy Peters and Parker Kligerman at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series autograph session on Friday, October 5th, from 2:15-3:00 pm underneath the OV Hill South Grandstands. The Red Horse Racing drivers will also make an appearance for the fans at the Honda Generators display in the fan midway on Saturday, October 6, at 1:00 PM.
Previous Race Recap: Todd Bodine and the No. 11 Toyota Care team entered NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition this Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a brand-new, Red Horse Racing built chassis in tow. After starting from the 10th position, Bodine came back from a spin on lap one in the Smith’s 350 with the help of crew chief Rick Gay’s strategy calls and adjustments to the Toyota Care Tundra. “The Onion” marched through the field after recovering from the incident and grabbed a fifth place finish.

What is your secret to superspeedway racing?
“I’ve been fortunate to have fast race trucks in the past to help me get the wins at both Talladega and Daytona, but there’s really no secret. You have to keep yourself out of trouble to be in contention for the win in the closing laps, and you have to align yourself with a good drafting partner. I’m excited to get back behind the wheel of this Toyota Care Tundra this weekend because I know it is fast and it handled well at Daytona in February. I know a lot of drivers try to stay in the back and miss “The Big One”, but I’m much more comfortable out front and that’s where I plan to be.”
