Season Kickoff Event Features Many Driver Autograph Sessions
Richmond, VA (January 29, 2013)—NASCAR fans will flock to Charlotte, NC for the NASCAR Preview 2013 on Saturday, February 9, and Richmond International Raceway will be there! In addition to numerous NASCAR driver autograph sessions, car displays and interactive games, the event will feature a Richmond International Raceway display you have to visit.
Fans will have the opportunity to enter RIR’s Ultimate Fan Experience contest, spin the big prize wheel (prizes include RIR-branded celebration beads, bottle openers, koozies, drinking cups and tattoos), watch highlights from last year’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at RIR and the RIR Pace Car will be on display outside.
The NASCAR Preview 2013 is an up close look at the world of NASCAR. The all-day fan festival will feature autograph sessions with the top drivers from all three national series. The event also will include a chance to see the new 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series cars and paint schemes, interactive displays, giveaways and activities for fans of all ages. The event is part of the NASCAR Acceleration Weekend, and will be at the Charlotte Convention Center. Tickets start at $20 in advance, and include admission to the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Children 12 and younger are admitted free with a ticketed adult in general admission sections on Friday. The weekend begins Thursday, April 25, when the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East returns to RIR for the BLUE OX 100 race.
