Lap by Lap: NASCAR K&N Pro Series 150 won by Cameron Hayley

unoh-battle-at-the-beachCanadian Cameron Hayley took the win in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series 150 at Daytona International Speedway as part of the UNOH Battle of the Beach after beating Ryan Goulding barely to the line in a dramatic finish.

Lap 21 Michael Self goes around, gets it turned around so no caution

Lap 23 Pursley Thorn Kennedy Conley Kwasniewski

Lap 25 Pursley starts to find himself among lap traffic

Lap 37 Pursley Thorn Kennedy Conley Kwasniewski

Caution lap 40 Gifford goes around, along with Ortiz and Goeters. Martin Roy gets the lucky dog.

Restart lap 51 Pursley gets the jump, Thorn gets it in behind and then into Pursley, side-by-side. Pursley holds the lead off of turn four.

Lap 53 Pursley Thorn Kennedy

Caution lap 54 Mayhew and Kwasniewski get together – Hayley and Kwasniewski get together, collecting Mayhew.

Restart Pursley get a good restart, however caution as John Hunter Nemechek has heavy front end damage. Chuck Buchanan Jr.got loose, and then Nemechek ran into the back of him. Ortiz gets the lucky dog.

Restart lap 71 – Daryl Har goes around, no caution.

Caution lap 72 Martin Roy is slow off of four, can’t get it going.

Restart lap 79 Kennedy and LaJoie go around. Conley gets into LaJoie turning him around, causing LaJoie to get into Kennedy and turn Kennedy around.

Restart Lap 86 – Caution – Thorn makes slight contact with Pursley; Pursley saves it. Derek Thorn goes around in the battle for third after contact from Goulding. Pursley holds Hanley off for the lead

27 to go Caution Dylan Presnell stopped on the track. Pena pulled off the track as the car was leaking fluid due to heavy frontend damage

Restart – Caution Conley spins Pursley around in turn two. Self to the lead. Self leads Conley, Goulding, Kennington and Ortiz.

Restart 18 to go. Conley misses a gear, Kennington moves up to third.

Goulding spins Self, collecting Pursley , Thorn, Larson and Kennington……..Goulding overdrives the corner, opening up the bottom and Hayley barely beats Goulding to the line
