Kenny Wallace Quotes:
“I am just so excited to be returning to the NASCAR Nationwide series this weekend at a race track that I love in Richmond International Raceway, with a sponsor that has been with me for years in Toyota and Toyota Care, and with an amazing race team in RAB Racing. Richmond will be the first of many races with RAB Racing this season, and it’s great to run for Robby Benton again, who will actually be my crew chief this weekend. I truly can’t wait to get out on the track Thursday and start practicing and get back to stock car racing, we’ve had such a great year going so far with my JEGS dirt team, but there’s no feeling like short track racing under the lights at Richmond International Raceway.”
Robby Benton Quotes:
“Going to Richmond with Kenny Wallace is always an event I look forward to. His stats at this particular track are amazing and I couldn’t think of a better opportunity for us to launch our new No. 29 team. We have extra practice on Thursday morning, so it gives this team a chance at some additional time to work together. This will be the first time this group has worked with one another at the track and I look forward to a strong start out of the box. Our goal for the weekend is to continue Kenny’s streak of finishing every event he’s run at Richmond and give him a chance at win number four. RAB Racing has had a strong year with our No. 99 entry and that team, under Chris Rice’s leadership, has been essential in preparing Kenny’s car for this race, so I hope we can reflect that same strength in the No. 29 team.”
