·        Biffle at Darlington

o   One year ago Biffle sat on the pole at Darlington.  The pole was his second at the 1.366-mile track.

o   Biffle has 12 Sprint Cup career starts at Darlington, earning two wins, two top-five and five top-10 finishes.

o   Darlington is the track Biffle holds his second-best starting average of 9.5 with an average finish of 14.0.

·        The Car

o   Chassis RK-809 last raced at Texas in 2012, earning a 10th-place finish.

·        Meguiar’s

o   The No. 16 Meguiar’s Ford will feature a black paint scheme for Darlington.  Meguiar’s has a special “Black Wax” which is perfect for black to dark colored cars since they require a formula that provides “gloss” to the paint to give it a deep reflection.  This specially formulated wax is designed to make your paint shine with the help of its polishing oils.

Biffle on Darlington:

“I love the Darlington race track, I’ve got a couple of wins there and I’m ready to put Talladega behind us.  This will be the first time there with the new car, so we don’t know what to expect.  There should be a lot of grip.  I’m excited, the team is excited, we are looking for a win to get back some points.  The last two weeks have been really rough on us.  I can’t wait to race the black Meguiar’s car under the lights Saturday night at Darlington.”

Puccia on Darlington:

“Last year we had a really good race at Darlington.  We sat on the pole and led a bunch of laps.  Darlington is a unique track with a lot of history.  It has two distinct opposite different configurations of corners.  It’s a balancing act between each end trying to get the car to do one thing at one end and not be the total opposite at the other end.  A balancing act you have to work on pretty hard. You’ve got to keep up with the race track all night long as the track changes over the course of the night to be there at the end.”
