Bobby Tolton Fights Mechanical Issues in OSCAAR Modified Debut

Bobby Tolton would fight mechanical issues throughout the night in his OSCAAR Modified debut on his way to finishing 10th.

In the first heat, he would go around in turn two and wouldn’t finish the heat due to overheating issues.

In the second heat, he would go around again on lap five as overheating issues continued.

Those issues would be repaired before the feature and Tolton would start the feature near the back.

His problems would continue as he would spin in turn two on lap five to bring out the first caution. Following another spin three laps later, Tolton pulled his modified behind the wall and called it a night.

It was discovered after the race that the sway bar had come apart and the right rear shock had come off.

Tolton and team plan to work the bugs out before the next race at Barrie Speedway on June 15th.

Special thanks to Eloquip, Engines from Hal, Knightwork Designs, Bolt-On Performance, Amsoil, Crazy Bill’s Paintball, Tri-Country Sandblasting, At A Glance Screenprinting, Black Magic Racing and Around the Howse Contracting for their support.

Photos from the night can be viewed on Bobby Tolton’s website at http://bit.ly/bobbytolton.
