Sean Cronan experiences mechanical problems at Sunset Speedway

Sean Cronan wouldn’t have the night that he would’ve hoped for following his success at Sunset Speedway last June as he would experience mechanical problems during the feature.
Cronan finished fifth in the first heat after starting fourth, while finishing second in the second heat after starting second.
As a result, he would start ninth in the feature; however the problems started right away as he drew the first caution on lap two when the car appeared to lose power. Cronan would make his way to pit road where the crew would try and solve the issue before heading back on the track.
In the cautions that followed, Cronan continue to make trips down pit road to continue to try and diagnose the problems. With the problem unable to be solved, Cronan would pull behind the wall after the halfway mark and fail to finish the feature, being credited with a 16th place finish.
