McMurray to Drive the No. 1 fast acting Advil® Chevrolet SS at Michigan
CONCORD, N.C. (August 12, 2013) – Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (EGR) and the No. 1 team with former Daytona 500 winner Jamie McMurray announced today their partnership with the new fast acting Advil® product at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) for the Pure Michigan 400 taking place on Sunday, August 18.

· McMurray on the Track: McMurray currently sits in 15th-place in the NSCS standing just 25 points out of 10th place, the cutoff to make the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. McMurray began his NSCS career with team owner Chip Ganassi in 2002 when he filled in for an injured Sterling Marlin and won his first NSCS race in just his second start at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In 2010, the Joplin, MO, native became one of only three drivers to ever capture both the Daytona 500 and the Brickyard 400 in the same season. In 385 career starts in the NASCAR premier series, McMurray has six victories, nine poles, 42 top-five and 104 top-10 finishes.
· Michigan History: McMurray has made 21 starts at the two-mile Michigan track since 2003. In those starts he has completed 3988 of 4139 (96.4%) laps of competition. He has led 36 laps, and has one top-five and four top-10 finishes with an average start of 24.8 and average finish of 19.6. McMurray’s best start was in the fourth position in August 2003 and his best finish of second-place came in June 2010
