ADVANCE NOTES:

·         Bayne at Richmond Int’l Raceway
o   Bayne and the No. 6 team make their second trip of the season to Richmond International Raceway hoping to improve on their 12th place finish in April.
o   Bayne has completed 1209 of 1252 laps (96.6%) at RIR.
o   Of Bayne’s five starts at Richmond, he has one top-5, two top-10’s and has average starting position of 6.8 and an average finishing position of 14.2.

·         Last Time at Richmond
o   Trevor Bayne battled back to a 12th-place finish after a late penalty sent him to the back of the field in Friday night’s Nationwide Series race at Richmond International Raceway.  Bayne was running in the top of the pack late in the race when officials flagged him for making a move during a restart that could have led to a pass before the start/finish line.

·         The Car
o   Chassis RK-748 will return to the track, this is the same chassis the team used in Richmond and Loudon this season, finishing 12th and 6th respectively.
o   The team will be running the “Driven” paint scheme this weekend.

QUOTE WORTHY

Bayne on Racing at Richmond Int’l Raceway:

“I am looking forward to running under the lights at Richmond.  I didn’t get a chance to run Richmond last year and I am very anxious to get back on the track. We almost won in 2010 but had a rough finish in 2011, so hopefully I can get back to the top on Friday night.”
