CLINT BOWYER
No. 15 Raspberry 5-hour ENERGY Toyota Camry
Dover International Speedway
CORNELIUS, N.C. — Michael Waltrip Racing driver Clint Bowyer has a new paint scheme for his No. 15 Toyota this weekend at Dover International Speedway. The scheme introduces a new, limited edition, specially marked Raspberry flavor of 5-hour ENERGY and is benefitting Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
From now through December 31, 5-hour ENERGY will donate five cents from the sale of every bottle of raspberry flavored 5-hour ENERGY to Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a national nonprofit education and support organization serving women and families affected by breast cancer. The minimum guaranteed donation is $75,000.
Bowyer ranks 10th in the Sprint Cup Series standings with 2,063 points. Bowyer trails point leader Matt Kenseth by 48 points with eight races remaining in the Sprint Cup season.
BOWYER ON DOVER: “This is a big weekend for the 5-hour ENERGY team. We’ve stubbed our toe a little the last couple weeks and haven’t finished as well as we’ve needed to. We have run well at Dover in the past couple years and we are bringing a good car this weekend that dominated at Atlanta but had an engine issue, so hopefully the car will be as good, but with a little better luck at the end.”
ON 5-HOUR ENERGY’S COMMITMENT TO BREAST CANCER AWARENESS: “5-hour ENERGY goes above and beyond to give back to their community and take care of people. The Raspberry 5-hour ENERGY car looks great and raises awareness for a great cause. For every Raspberry 5-hour ENERGY sold they will give five cents to Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
“I’ve been fortunate that breast cancer hasn’t effected my family directly, but it has effected the NASCAR family recently and I have friends and co-workers whose families have been effected. It’s a horrible disease, but there are people to help those facing a breast cancer diagnosis and that is where Living Beyond Breast Cancer comes in with information and resources.”
MELISSA SKABICH, COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR FOR 5-HOUR ENERGY: “Our company has a strong history of supporting causes that fight breast cancer. This year we chose Living Beyond Breast Cancer because we’re so impressed with the great work they’re doing to empower women affected by breast cancer, and we are working hard to help support the organization both financially and by raising awareness of the cause.”
