No Rest for the Wicked…Buescher will utilize his off week from the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series to race in the Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway. This will be Buescher’s third start this year in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) and fourth career NNS start at Kansas Speedway. Buescher has previous success at the Kansas Speedway, capturing a win in the NCWTS in 2012.

Fly Like an Eagle…The No. 34 Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) team will carry The Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) colors on their Chevrolet Camaro for this week’s Kansas Lottery 300. The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization, which unites fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills, and by promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope. The F.O.E. was founded in 1898 by six theatre owners gathered in a Seattle shipyard to discuss a musician’s strike. After addressing the matter, they agreed to “bury the hatchet” and form “The Order of Good Things.” As numbers grew, members changed the name to “The Fraternal Order of Eagles.” Presently, F.O.E. membership is almost one million strong, with more than 1,700 local aeries in the U.S. and Canada. Women’s auxiliaries total more than 1,500, with more than 335,000 members. Among its many accomplishments, the F.O.E. counts the founding of Mother’s Day and esteemed members include seven former U.S. Presidents.

This Week’s Camaro…The No. 34 F.O.E.team will unload TSM-408, a brand new chassis, this weekend at Kansas Speedway.

Come Say Hello…Buescher will join his TSM teammate Nelson Piquet Jr. at the Team Chevy Stage on Saturday, October 5 from 9:30-9:45 a.m. for a Q&A session.

Last NNS Start…In Buescher’s last NNS start, his TSM team traveledto Daytona in July to make their second NNS start of 2013. After starting the Subway Firecracker 250 in the 17th position, Buescher looked to make friends and find a drafting partner during the first half of the race. During the final laps Buescher was able to get hooked up with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standout Matt Kenseth and the two rocketed to the front of the field. With a green/white/checkered restart, Buescher was able to push Kenseth out to the lead and brought the TSM Camaro home in the second position.

Watch and Listen…The Kansas Lottery 300 can be seen live on Saturday, October 5 on ESPN.  Race coverage will begin at 3:30 p.m. EDT. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.
