Mike Bliss Race Summary: TriStar Motorsports driver Mike Bliss made his 10th NASCAR Nationwide Series start at Kansas Speedway on Saturday afternoon. Starting from the 21st position Bliss had a car that was near flawless to the conditions of the 1.5-mile tri-oval. Crew Chief Paul Clapprood and the No. 19 crew made minimal adjustments throughout the 200 lap event. A miss-cue on pit road dropped Bliss to the 34th position at lap 60, but he was quick to rebound, bringing his Toyota Camry back into the top-20 by the halfway mark. Bliss was able to supersede the competition jumping three spots in the final 20 laps to finish in the 13th position, his 2nd top 20 finish in as many weeks.

Bliss: “I had a really good Toyota Camry all race long. We fought a tight condition early on, but it wasn’t anything to dwell on. My guys worked really hard to prepare the car, another top-15 finish is just what we needed.”
