This weekend’s Toyota Camry:
The fluorescent blue, yellow and orange of chassis No. 14 is wrapped and ready for battle. This chassis is the go to on 1.5-mile tracks for Bliss and Crew Chief Paul Clapprood. Bliss last raced chassis No. 14 at the sister track of Texas Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, where he earned a 15th place finish.
Mike Bliss on Texas Motor Speedway:
Everyone seems to compare Texas to Charlotte, in your opinion what’s the difference between the two?
” I would say the biggest difference is that Texas has a more weathered surface versus Charlotte. The bottom line is the fastest way around and at Texas that is the line that has most of the bumps. Especially in turns one and two, just like any track with a tunnel under it, it’s more rough than the rest of the track.”
