Will be Primary Sponsor on McMurray’s No. 1 Chevrolet SS at Phoenix International Raceway
CONCORD, NC. (Nov. 5, 2013) – Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (EGR) and Lexar announce an extension of their continued partnership with Chip Ganassi Racing Teams (CGRT), to be the primary sponsor on the No. 1 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Chevrolet SS of former Daytona 500 Champion Jamie McMurray. Lexar, a long-time partner of CGRT, began its relationship with the team back in 2001 when it became an associate sponsor.
The No. 1 Lexar Chevrolet SS will make an appearance at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) for the AdvoCare 500 on Sunday Nov. 10 (3PM ET, ESPN). The AdvoCare 500 is the next-to-last race in the 2013 Chase to the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

· McMurray at Phoenix: Jamie McMurray has made 20 career NSCS starts at PIR since 2002. The driver of the No. 1 Chevrolet has completed 5927 of 6321 (93.8%) laps of competition where he has one top-five and two top-10 finishes, and has also led 29 laps and has an average starting position of 16.4 and average finish of 21.8.
· McMurray career numbers: McMurray who made his first NSCS start in October of 2002 at Talladega Superspeedway will make his 401st career start at PIR on Sunday Nov. 10. The Joplin, Mo. native has 34 NSCS starts in 2013 including one pole, nine top-10, four top-five finishes, and one win at Talladega Superspeedway on Oct. 20. McMurray also boasts the title of 2010 Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400 Champion.
