ADVANCE NOTES

·         Stenhouse at Homestead

o   The two-time Nationwide champion has three career starts in the Nationwide Series at HMS posting two top-five and three top-10 finishes.

o   The rookie competed in the Sprint Cup race last year at Homestead finishing 39th after a blown tire sent him into the outside wall.

·         The Car

o   Chassis RK-820 is the same chassis that the rookie has raced multiple times this season. His best performance came at Kansas in April when he led 26 laps, but finished 11th after getting debris on the grille.

·         Ford Ecoboost

o   Delivering up to 20 percent better fuel economy than conventional engines, EcoBoost uses smaller overall size combined with turbocharging and gasoline direct injection to bring customers the power they want and the fuel economy they need.

Stenhouse Jr. on Homestead:

“I always look forward to Homestead as it is one of my favorite tracks. We’ve had some solid runs this year at mile-and-a-half tracks so I feel confident in my No. 17 team going into this weekend. Hopefully we can get a top-10 finish and can carry that momentum into the off-season as we gear up for 2014.”

Scott Graves on Homestead:

“Our mile-and-a-half program has been strong this year so I feel confident going into this weekend. Homestead can be tricky because it starts in the day and ends under the lights so you have to make the right adjustments. With it being the Ford Championship weekend, we want to have a strong showing to cap off the season.”
