BRIAN SCOTT QUOTES:

Is Auto Club Speedway one of the most fun tracks to race at just because of all the options? And they seem to be good options?

“Yeah I think Auto Club Speedway is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, you kind of race yourself at California. It’s a big track, the cars get spread out and it’s really unfortunate because, as a driver, it’s a fun place.

How much are you going to rely on all the notes from the next couple of weeks going into Fontana?   “It’s going to be a work in progress. With the new rules package, teams have done testing and we have done testing to try to figure it out, but we are still adjusting and still working on it. I’m sure the set-up from now to then will adjust and change a lot. We had a great run at Las Vegas with our No. 2 Camaro and I feel we have a solid foundation for the 1.5-mile tracks coming up on the schedule.”
