Tune In…After a weekend off, The NASCAR Nationwide Series is back in action at their second short track of the season. The Toyota Care 250 at Richmond International Raceway will be run on Friday, April 25 at 7:00 pm EDT. The event can be seen on ESPNNEWSand can be heard on SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90 and on MRN Radio.
How was it to have a weekend off?
“It felt really good to be at home and spend some quality time with my family and friends. I was able to get some projects around the house done and just be able to relax. I feel reenergized and I know the guys at the shop have been hard at work so I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of our No. 99 Rheem Toyota Camry at Richmond.”
What would it mean to win at Richmond?
“Richmond is Chris Rice’s (crew chief) home race track — he’s really excited about going to Richmond. Richmond has been one of my least favorite tracks to go to honestly. I’ve already told him that, but I’m going to learn to like it and we’re going to figure it out. I’m hoping that we can do well there. It seems like we did well out in Phoenix before the rain came and the two-tire pit stop came so I’m hoping we will have a good run at Richmond for another short track race.
