TriStar Motorsports – Toyota Care 250 Pre-Race Report Richmond International Raceway

Mooresville, NC (April 22, 2014) – The NASCAR Nationwide Series is coming off its second off weekend of the 2014 season this weekend for the Toyota Care 250 at Richmond International Raceway. Friday’s race will mark the eighth race of the 2014 Nationwide Series season and the third night race this season.

 

Eric McClure, No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Toyota Camry

Virginia native, Eric McClure will make his 234th-career Nationwide Series start and his 13th start at Richmond International Raceway. The Virginia native driver has an average finish 31.4 and has completed 83.1% of the total laps across his 12 starts. The No. 14 Camry will be sporting a different look this weekend with Reynolds Wrap® adorning the hood and Hefty® on the TV panel.

 

Mike Bliss, No. 19 TriStar Motorsports Toyota Camry

Mike Bliss will make his 19th Nationwide Series start at Richmond International Raceway this Friday night. Bliss has one top-5 and four top-10’s over his 18 starts at the raceway. He has an average starting position of 14.8 and an average finishing position of 17.8. After coming off a 16th place finish at Darlington Raceway, Bliss is hoping to gain more drivers points this weekend at a track that he has had success at.

 

Blake Koch, No. 44 TriStar Motorsports Toyota Camry

Blake Koch is back behind the wheel of the No. 44 Toyota Camry this weekend at Richmond International Raceway. Koch has 5 Nationwide Series starts at RIR with an average starting position of 35.4 and an average finishing position of 31.0. Koch’s best finish came back in 2013 when he finished 25th.

 

Be sure to tune into the Toyota Care 250 from Richmond International Raceway on Friday, April 25th on ESPNNews at 6:30pm (ET). The race will also be broadcasted on Sirius Channel 90 and the Motor Racing Network (MRN) on Friday night.
