THROTTLE DOWN: Elliott Sadler and the No. 11 OneMain Financial team look forward to the ninth race of the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series season at Talladega Superspeedway. In five Nationwide Series starts at Talladega, Sadler has a top-five and two top-10 finishes with 21 laps led. Sadler has also won the pole position at this 2.66-mile track in 2011 and 2012. In addition, the veteran driver has 23 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Talladega, with three pole awards in 2003, 2005 and 2006. As well as, a top-five and four top-10 finishes.
JUST THE STATS: Eight races into the 2014 Nationwide Series season, Sadler currently sits third in the Nationwide Series driver champion points standings, 23 points back from the lead.
