EARNHARDT ADDING SOME ‘FAST’ FOR TALLADEGA

TALLADEGA, Ala. – Talladega Superspeedway is one of the fastest race tracks in the world, and Saturday it will host the Aaron’s 312 Nationwide Series event.

Jeffrey Earnhardt, who will be driving for the fifth time at the giant 2.66-mile track, will bring some extra “fast” with him in the form of sponsor Fast Wax, whose colors Earnhardt will carry in the 117-lap race.

Fast Wax will be the primary sponsor of the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet for the race.

Fast Wax is a high-performance cleaning wax which allows for waterless wash and wax of your vehicle. Fast Wax comes in an aerosol can and can clean and wax an average-sized vehicle in under 30 minutes. One can will wax the same car three or four times.

Also on board the No. 4 Chevrolet will be the Deaf and Blind Institute and warrior50.org, which honors United States military veterans and works to raise awareness of the critical mission to bring every prisoner of war home. Earnhardt is a spokesman for the group.

Earnhardt has raced in two Nationwide races and two Camping World Truck Series events at Talladega. His top finish is a 16th.

Nationwide practice is scheduled at 3 p.m. (ET) and 4:30 Thursday. Qualifying is set Friday at 6:40 p.m., with the race scheduled Saturday at 3 p.m.
