HAMPTON, Ga. (June 5, 2014) – Members of the military and first responders, through a partnership between Atlanta Motor Speedway and GovX, can receive discounted tickets to the events during Labor Day Weekend NASCAR night racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
GovX is an e-commerce portal for active, retired and guard members of the military in addition to those associated with related government agencies.
GovX is partnering with Atlanta Motor Speedway to offer tickets for NASCAR night racing on Labor Day Weekend at a discounted rate. Other events and professional sports teams that GovX has partnered with to provide their services include Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Atlanta Braves.
Discounted tickets for Labor Day Weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway are available to military who are active, retired or have guard status in addition to first responders at a rate up to 30 percent off of the regular price.
They can be easily purchased by visiting www.atlantamotorspeedway.com/GovX. After creating a free online GovX ID, discounted tickets for Labor Day Weekend can be purchased.
Ticket discounts in three separate grandstands are available for the Aug. 31 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series night race. Seats in the Upper Elliott Grandstand, regularly priced at $59, will be sold for $39. Seats in the Upper Petty Grandstand, priced at $95, will be priced at $59 with seats in the Lower Champions Grandstand, regularly sold for $99, being available at the reduced rate of $75.
Military and first responders can also enjoy all of the pre-race activities prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at a reduced price. Pre-race pit passes for Sunday are available for $50, a half-price discount off of the regular price. Pre-race pit passes grant access to pit road up to an hour prior to the start of the race, and pre-race pit passes also include stagefront access for pre-race activities.
A discount of $5 per seat is available for the Aug. 30 NASCAR Nationwide Series Great Clips 300 to benefit Feed The Children, with grandstand seats being available for $25 in general admission sections and $40 for reserved seats. A similar discount is also in place for Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Wetumpka Qualifying Night and the Sprint Car Shootout on Aug. 29 with grandstand tickets being sold for military and first responders for $15, a $5 discount off of the regular price.
